The home page for the upcoming computer game title, By the Sword, was created using the WordPress software as the core. Utilizing WordPress API commands, I integrated a login feature that detects the identity of a logged-in visitor, and allows non-logged-in visitors to register an optional account to comment on blog posts.
The layout was designed from scratch in Photoshop. No existing WordPress template was used as a basis; instead, the template was built from the ground up using CSS.
An effort was also initiated to market this blog on Facebook, with a fan page created for the game for fans to follow. The administrative back-end is WordPress's own system.
